Sigh. I haven’t written in so long. And I apologize. I’ve just been leading a pretty un-interesting life. Quick highlights.
[1. Still interning]
I’m still working at the magazine publishing company (reading about radiology and dieticians and social workers) and still learning a good bit about copy editing (and learning how much more there is to learn).
[2. Still not making any money]
So…the aforementioned internship is unpaid. Annnnnddddd I wasn’t able to find more than a one-Saturday-a-month catering job. Sooooooo I’ll be making the 2 hr trek home every other week to work for Daddy-o :-\. Kinda stinks that things didn’t work out like I’d hoped.
[3. Watching summer TV]
The Boyfriend and I are lovin the new True Bloods and SYTYCD (which Brent actually admits he likes now). In return, he got me hooked on Entourage (season premiere tomorrow night!). And watching NCIS and Criminal Minds whenever I can find a repeat.
Also, best new show ever = Bert the Conqueror on Travel Channel. The guy is hilarious.
[4. Watching World Cup]
Like everyone else. Watched today’s game in a bar in downtown WC and it was nuts. Crazy when we scored, sad when we lost. :-\
[5. Dog sitting fun]
Got to dog sit again last night/today! This time Jada got in the pool with us.
She has this thing where she thinks it’s so fun to swim up to you, dig in her claws, then use you to push off of you. Not so fun if you’re being pushed off-of.
[6. And upcoming: friends coming for bar hopping fun]
Five amigos from Leb Val are comin up tonight! We’re talkin roof-top bars, $5 fish bowls, and $3 beer tubs (whatever they are). Can’t wait to parrrrtayyyy!
[This much fun, but without the New Years]
For the comments: Have you experienced the awesome that is Bert the Conqueror? What are your plans this weekend?

My weekend was totally boring & not fun like yours! I'm jealous! 8)
entourage = thumbs up!
ps. what were these beer tubs?? I obviously had my ass whooped by the fishbowls (and all the ish that came before it) but beer tubs?? I don't think we encountered these that night.
