Brent and I had the awesome idea this weekend to make cookies.
Brent was in charge of mixing the ingredients. He put the egg and butter in the mix, but the butter was still cold and it wasn’t mixing. So I suggested to Brent to stick the mix in the microwave to melt the butter.
Bad idea.
The microwave melted the butter….but it also melted the chocolate chips.
[Don’t mind the pictures of almost naked women in the background. Those are just Brent and his roommate’s idea of tasteful wall hangings.]
So instead of scrumptious choco chip cookies, we have flat, brownie-like-yet-not-quite-brownie cookies.
[Note to self: don’t microwave the cookie mix. It WILL melt the choco chips.]

One day I decided to make a cheesecake.
I made the crust by hand.
I got all the ingredients.
But I put in 1/2 cup of salt and 1/4 tsp sugar.
It was supposed to be other way around.
If you do this your cheesecake will feel like rubber.
It's actually sorta bouncy, and you can slice it and wave around a slice and it will stay in a perfect triangle shape.
I was always known to switch around my baking soda and baking powder in recipes. Especially when I would make pancakes....whoops!
